I find my owner rather cumbersome. Relating to him is impossible. I've done nothing to deserve what he gives me. Not one solitary thing....
His wife on the other hand, is beautiful, gracious and loving. She holds and pets me, perhaps too much.
Relaxing in the living room one rainy summer night. An insect went racing across the floor in front my perch next to mom's sewing box.
I pounced on it. After batting the bug around for awhile I felt my owners' hand upon me, "Alright dumb cat! You are going out!" He grabbed me at the back of the neck like I was going hurt him and hauled me to the door and threw me out on the porch, slamming the door behind me!
Can you believe it, like a common alley cat! What had I done to deserve that?
Nothing! Mom was asleep and couldn't defend me.
My eyes took seconds to adjust to the dim light, the air was cool. In the bushes directly across from my perch, two eyes stared at me, that's all I could see, two eyes. They were staring at ME!
